Hot Off The Press Exhibit

Dive into the cool world of American wood type and see how this vintage craft is making a fresh comeback!

Come celebrate the opening of Hot Off The Press: The Rise and Revival of American Wood Type, an exhibit created by INF 368E students as their final class project! Over the semester, they’ve planned, researched, designed, and put it all together, and now it’s time to show it off. Stop by the UT Administration Building to see what they’ve been working on and cheer on the people who made it happen.

The reception is the fun part. Wander through the exhibit, chat with the students about how it all came together, and be among the first to see it in person. It’s an easy, friendly hour, so bring a friend, classmate, or coworker and stop by to say hi.

We will have an activity, light snacks, and a speaker from the Letter Press community.
